Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in a 12-bed high-risk unit with 2 ORs. Night shift 19:00–07:30 and ~150 deliveries per month. Level III NICU on site. Radius rule applies for local candidates with distance-based rate adjustments.

You must hold an RN license (MD or Compact), BLS/ACLS, NRP, and Nursys verification within 30 days of start, plus US SSN and US home address.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (MD or Compact) currently in hand.
• 2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required.
• NRP certification (AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics) required.
• Scrub experience a plus.
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start.
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start.

Responsibilities

• 12-bed LDR high-risk delivery unit with 2 ORs.
• Approximately 150 deliveries per month.
• Level III NICU on site.
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30.
• Every other weekend as needed.
• Holiday coverage required per unit need.
• Provide direct patient care in a high-risk labor and delivery setting.
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility.
• Candidates must have a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address.
