Job summary

TalentBurst, Inc is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week on-site contract in Milwaukee, WI. The role requires knowledge of high-risk obstetrics, fetal monitoring, and C-section circulation support.

Expect 12-hour day shifts (0700-1930), high acuity care, and collaboration with OB teams in a Level III Perinatal Center setting. Applicants should have 2 years of L&D experience, BLS/NRP/FHM certifications, and be able to handle 1:1 to 1:3 patient ratios with

Qualifications

• RN: Fetal monitoring, maternal assessments/interventions, high risk newborns/mothers post-delivery, cervical exams for labor progression, OB triage, able to assist with circulating c-sections, primary nurse for vaginal deliveries, assist with procedures, post-partum, L&D recoveries
• OB Tech – scrub c-sections, draw cord gases and blood at deliveries, and perform stocking, delivery set up, room set up, and Health Unit Coordinator tasks on the unit
• Experience required: Level III Perinatal Care experience
• Covid vaccine required and PPE protocols in place

Responsibilities

• Provide care for high risk mothers and newborns
• Assist with circulating cesarean deliveries and vaginal deliveries
• Monitor fetal status and maternal vitals
• Administer postpartum care and support L&D recovery
• Navigate EPIC and unit equipment including Pyxis and Alaris pumps
• Collaborate with OB physicians, residents and midwives
