Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Wisconsin. The role requires a WI or compact RN license, 5 years of L&D experience, and certifications like BLS, NRP, and FHM. Epic EMR experience is required.

The unit features a Level III Trauma Center with a Level II NICU, 13 beds in Womens Health and OB Services, and a 12-hour night shift (7p-7a) with a 36-hour week and every-other-weekend rotation. Free on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• BLS, NRP, and FHM certifications required
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required
• Minimum 12 months of core experience in the specialty unit, with most recent experience within the last year
• Experience with antepartum, postpartum, L&D, and gynecological surgical patients required
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least one professional reference dated within the last year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN required
• Candidate's middle name or initial, date of birth, and last 4 of SSN required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for laboring, postpartum, and gynecologic surgical patients
• Circulate C-sections and recover mother and infant
• Operate and coordinate EPIC, Alaris, Pyxis, Milktraker, and CPN charting systems
• Work 12-hour night shifts (7p–7a), 36 hours per week
• Weekend rotation every other weekend
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required
