Job summary
A healthcare staffing agency is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Everett, WA. The ideal candidate will provide high-risk perinatal care and support in a maternity services environment. Responsibilities include ensuring optimal nurse-to-patient ratios, participating in triage, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
Experience in facilities with 200+ deliveries preferred.
Candidates with 100-200 deliveries will be considered.
Responsibilities
Provide care to patients in labor, ensuring a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.
Assist with prenatal assessments and interventions.
Monitor and manage postpartum care with a 1:3 couplet ratio.
Partake in triage for efficient patient flow.
Support CNAs in postpartum unit.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient outcomes.
Skills
Labor and Delivery experience
BCLS certification
ACLS certification
NRP certification
AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring certification
Education
Active RN license (Washington or Compact RN)
