Job summary
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for Labor & Delivery in Texas. Requires 2+ years L&D, active TX or compact RN license, and BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications. This travel assignment offers a 3x12 night shift, weekend rotations, and potential on-call duties. Housing allowance and travel reimbursements are provided, with Navy blue scrubs required for all shifts.
Open to candidates residing outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted.
Qualifications
- Active TX or compact RN license required.
- Current certifications: BLS (AHA only), ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN.
- Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required.
- LDRP experience highly preferred.
- STABLE certification preferred but not required.
- Two professional references required.
- Flu shot required with no exemptions granted.
Responsibilities
- L&D unit in a hospital setting.
- 3x12 PM shift schedule, 7pm-7am.
- Weekend shifts required.
- On-call responsibilities possible.
- Navy blue scrubs required.
- Provide nursing care within the Labor & Delivery unit.
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify; local candidates not accepted.
