Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Labor and Delivery RN for a 16-week assignment in Tulsa, OK. The role requires one year of L&D RN experience, active RN license, BLS and NRP certifications, and the ability to work nights on a 12-hour shift. You’ll join a supportive clinical team delivering quality obstetric care in a travel setting.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
• Active RN license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP Certification.

Responsibilities

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in obstetric nursing.
• Prepare equipment and aid physician during labor, delivery, and examination.
• Provide immediate postpartum care including assessment of mother and newborn.
• Educate patients on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and team members.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies using evidence-based protocols.
• Document care and interventions in the medical record.
• Participate in quality improvement to improve maternal and neonatal outcomes.
• Perform fetal monitoring and interpret results.
• Assist in cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures.
• Comply with hospital policies, state laws, and federal guidelines.
