Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The assignment spans 13 weeks with 48 hours per week and 12-hour night shifts, offering travel benefits through TotalMed RN.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of acute care experience with L&D certification prerequisites such as BLS, NRP, and AWHONN, and is prepared for a fast-paced obstetric setting.

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent acute care experience.
• BLS, NRP, AWHONN certifications.
• Travel RN with L&D specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist breathing techniques.
• Check cervix periodically to monitor dilation.
• Keep beds clean and dry; clean up bodily fluids.
• Assist physician with drapes, gloves, gowns and instruments.
• Provide immediate care of the newborn.
