Job summary

TotalMed RN in Tulsa, OK is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment. The role requires 12-hour night shifts and 36 hours per week, with duties including monitoring labor, assisting with deliveries, and newborn care.

Ideal candidates have 3 years of acute care experience and certifications (BLS, NRP, AWHONN). Travel experience is preferred; competitive pay package and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3 years of recent acute care experience
• BLS, NRP, AWHONN certifications possibly required before assignment
• Travel nursing assignment with 13 weeks duration and 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques
• Check cervix periodically to monitor progression
• Maintain clean and dry beds; clean up bodily fluids
• Aid physician with drapes, gloves, gowns, instruments
• Provide immediate care to newborn
