Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN in Labor and Delivery for Plymouth, NH. The assignment is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts and a tax-free stipend to be determined.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of acute care experience and L&D exposure, will support physicians during labor and delivery, and must be able to stand long hours and lift up to 50 pounds. Travel nurses are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• 3 years of recent acute care experience.
• Active RN license and BLS/ACLS as required.
• L&D experience preferred for travel assignments.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Assess cervix progression and dilation.
• Maintain clean and dry bed environment; manage bodily fluids.
• Assist physician during epidurals, cesarean prep, and delivery.
• Provide immediate care to newborn.
• Stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Manage stress and interact with diverse patient populations.
