Job summary

TotalMed RN in Manchester, NH is seeking a travel Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week assignment with a 36-hour week and 12-hour night shifts. The RN must have 3 years of acute care experience and hold BLS, EFM, NRP, and AWHONN certifications.

Immediate travel nursing opportunity with competitive pay and benefits. The L&D travel RN will support mothers before, during, and after delivery, assist physicians during epidurals or cesareans, and care for newborns while ensuring safety and emotional

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent acute care experience required.
• BLS, EFM, NRP, AWHONN certifications required or may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and help patients with breathing techniques.
• Check cervix periodically to monitor progression/lack of dilation.
• Assist physician with drapes, gloves, gowns, delivery instruments, etc.
• Immediate care of newborn.
