Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Lebanon, New Hampshire. This 13-week assignment requires a 36-hour workweek with 12-hour rotating shifts and travel accommodations.

The ideal candidate has ACLS, BLS, AWHONN, NRP certifications and at least 3 years of acute care experience, with ability to assist physicians during epidurals, cesarean prep, and newborn care.

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent acute care experience required.
• ACLS, BLS, AWHONN, NRP certifications required.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced travel role with rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and help with breathing techniques.
• Check cervix periodically to monitor progression.
• Ensure beds are kept clean and dry; clean up fluids expelled before and after birth.
• Aid physician with drapes, gloves, gowns, etc.
• Immediate care of newborn.
