Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit.
• Cares for both low-risk and high-risk obstetric patients.
• Expected to cross-train to Mother/Baby unit.
• Unit averages 2000 deliveries annually.
• Facility includes 8 private labor rooms, 4 private triage beds, and 2 OB ORs.
• Cares for both low-risk (including certified nurse midwife population) and high-risk (maternal fetal medicine) obstetric patients.
• Expected to cross-train to Mother/Baby unit.
• Required to work every other holiday and every other weekend.
• No call requirement.
• Uses Epic EMR; experience preferred.
• Primary responsibilities include caring for laboring mothers and assisting in deliveries.
• Float to similar units may be required and will be based on clinical experience.
• Up to 40 hours of requested time off may be approved per contract.
• Must observe hospital-specific holiday rotation.
• A minimum of 12 months must pass before returning as a traveler.
• No radius rule; local candidates are eligible.
• Background check disclosure is required if applicable.
• Scrub color and dress code will be specified during onboarding.
