American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for Labor and Delivery in Washington, DC. The assignment runs for 13 weeks starting 01/05/2026, with 36 hours per week and night 12-hour shifts in a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital.

Travel staff must be fully vaccinated and will receive benefits, including medical, dental, vision insurance from day one, a 401(k), weekly payroll, and licensure reimbursement. Orientation and transportation access are provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Active DC RN license required for consideration.
• Minimum of 2 years Labor & Delivery RN experience.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP and AWHONN Intermediate.
• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

• Care for laboring mothers and neonates.

• Every other weekend and every other holiday are required.
• No on-call requirement.
• Floating within scope to other units as needed.
• Use Centricity, Sorian, EDM, Lawson, and Kronos charting systems.
• Hospital-provided scrubs; dress code observed.
• Orientation on first day; manager interview possible.
