Job summary

TalentBurst in Thousand Oaks, CA is seeking an RN for Labor and Delivery on a night shift. This 13-week onsite contract starts 9/28/2026, with 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and procedures including L&D management, fetal monitoring, and post-CS recovery.

Must have ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN credentials; 2+ years in labor and delivery; strong patient care and teamwork. Candidates should be flexible, able to cover weekend and on-call as needed, with ability to work within a 1:1 to 1:3 patient

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, NRP and AWHONN certifications are required.
• Fetal monitoring experience with at least 2 years in Labor & Delivery.
• Care of the laboring patient including CS and vaginal delivery and recovery.
• Strong patient-focused care and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery management and patient monitoring.
• Assist in vaginal deliveries and CS-related tasks.
• Provide postpartum and newborn care within the first hour of life.
• Utilize EMR for documentation and patient care plans.
