TalentBurst is hiring a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for Labor and Delivery in Key West, FL. Start ASAP for a 13-week contract; days, 7am-7pm. Requires 2 years of travel experience in L&D/postpartum, nursery, Mother/Baby, and ACLS/BLS/NRP; PALS within 30 days if needed.

Onsite assignment with AHCA compliance for FL placements. The RN provides care across antepartum to neonatal phases, with leadership and critical thinking to ensure safe delivery of care.

Qualifications

• 2 yrs prior travel experience in L&D postpartum, nursery, Mother/Baby.
• Flexible to float to other units as facility needs apply.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP; PALS required within 30 days of start if needed.
• AWHONN preferred, can be completed onsite.

Responsabilités

• Provide obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients across antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal phases.
• Demonstrate leadership, critical thinking and clinical judgment; supervise assigned staff.
• Adhere to Nursing Process and Hospital policies and state Nurse Practice Act.

Reminder: AHCA required for FL placements

The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing during the antepartum, intrapatum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phase of Obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
