Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a Service Technician I to perform cleaning, calibration, and preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment. The role includes responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with ISO and CAP standards.

We value hands-on diagnostic skills with multimeters, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and within a team in a lab environment.

Competenze

• Must be able to clean, calibrate, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on basic laboratory equipment from multiple manufacturers.
• Must be able to identify electrical hazards and control risks (electrical safety).

Mansioni

• Provides cleaning, calibration, preventative maintenance, minor adjustments, and basic repair to general and pre-analytic and post-analytic ancillary equipment.
• Promptly responds to submitted work orders (primary method for work assignments).
• Identifies issues within the laboratory instrumentation and escalates to senior staff as needed.
• Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools such as multimeters.
• Troubleshoots electrical, mechanical, and chemical subsystems in medical equipment.
