Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel RN Labor and Delivery nurse for a travel assignment in Washington, DC. The position features a 13‑week duration, 36 hours per week, and 12‑hour shifts (days and nights).

Qualifications include an active RN license, accredited nursing degree, BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications, and at least 18 months of recent acute care L&D experience. Travel benefits and credentialing support are provided by MedPro.

Qualifications

Active RN License.
Degree from accredited nursing program.
BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS AWHONN Certifications.
Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Labor and Delivery setting.
Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

Labor and Delivery Nurses provide care to women and their newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages.
Monitor vital signs of the mother and baby during birth.
Monitor patients for potential high risk problems.
Educate and support mothers and their families after giving birth.
