Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Towson, Maryland. The assignment runs 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts.

Active RN license and approved nursing degree are required, along with BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS and AWHONN credentials. Eighteen months of recent L&D acute care experience is expected, with client facility criteria to follow.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS AWHONN Certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Labor and Delivery (L&D) setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery Nurses (RN) provide care and support for women before, during and after delivery of the baby.
• Monitor vital signs of the mother and baby during birth.
• Monitor patients for potential high risk problems.
• Educate and support mothers and their families after giving birth.
