Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Nurse RN – Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment in Reston, Virginia. The role requires active RN licensure, an accredited nursing degree, and current BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications, with at least 18 months L&D acute care experience.

Position: Travel, 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, nights, 12-hour shifts. Duties include antepartum to neonatal care and family education. Housing and benefits provided per program, with travel reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Diploma/degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent Acute Care L&D experience.
• Travel nursing assignment readiness; 13 weeks.
• 36 hours per week, 12-hour nights.

Responsibilities

• Provide maternal and newborn care during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal stages.
• Monitor mother and neonatal vital signs and assess high-risk conditions.
• Educate families and support emotional needs throughout delivery.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe birthing process.
