Qualifications

• One year recent experience as Labor and Delivery RN
• Valid RN license in Indiana
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification

Responsibilities

• Monitor maternal and fetal health and administer treatments
• Educate patients on postpartum care and newborn care
• Document care in medical records
• Collaborate with obstetricians and anesthesiologists
• Respond to obstetric emergencies per protocols
• Assist in cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures
