Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Labor and Delivery travel nurse in Indianapolis, Indiana for a 13-week assignment. The RN will work 12-hour nights, averaging 48 hours per week, and support mothers before, during, and after delivery.

The role requires 3 years of acute care experience, BLS, AWHONN, NRP, and related certifications. Duties include direct patient care, assisting with deliveries, and newborn readiness. Travel flexibility and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent acute care experience required.
• BLS, AWHONN, NRP and additional certifications may be required before starting.
• Travel assignment in Indianapolis, IN for labor and delivery unit.

Responsibilities

• Monitor laboring patients and assist with delivery procedures as needed.
• Assist physicians during epidurals, cesarean prep, and newborn care.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, monitor contractions, and support mother and family.
