Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a Travel Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week assignment in Indianapolis, IN. Start date 10/05/2026, 36 hours per week, nights, travel employment.

You’ll provide obstetric care, monitor mother and fetus, collaborate with physicians and care teams, and support patients through labor and postpartum recovery. Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per obstetric nursing techniques.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during labor and delivery.
• Provide immediate postpartum care including maternal and newborn assessment.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and other team members.
