Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Antepartum for a travel nursing job in Dallas, Texas. The role is 13 weeks long, 36 hours per week, on a 12-hour night shift, with travel employment status.

The candidate should have at least 3 years of recent acute care experience, BLS, AWHONN, and NRP certifications. Tasks include labor support, fetal monitoring, and newborn care, with potential epidural and cesarean assistance as needed.

Qualifications

• 3 years of recent acute care experience required.
• RN with antepartum/L&D exposure preferred.
• Certifications: BLS, AWHONN, NRP may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor laboring patients and stay with them throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Assess cervix and monitor progression of labor.
• Keep beds clean and dry; manage fluids and bodily fluids as needed.
• Assist physicians with epidural administration and delivery procedures.
• Provide immediate newborn care and stabilization as required.
