Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for Labor and Delivery in Dallas, TX. The position is a 13-week travel assignment with 36 hours per week and 12-hour nights, starting ASAP.

The RN will care for high-risk obstetrical patients, monitor fetal heart rates, assist in deliveries (including C-sections), and document care in the Meditech/CPNS systems. Texas RN license and 2 years of high-risk L&D experience are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of experience in high-risk labor and delivery care.
• Must possess a valid RN license in the state of Texas.
• Intermediate AWONN fetal monitoring certificate is preferred.
• Experience in recovering high acuity patients is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to high-risk obstetrical patients in the Labor and Delivery setting.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs using GE fetal monitors.
• Assist in vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&Cs, and post-delivery recovery care.
• Document patient care activities using Meditech and CPNS documentation systems.
• Participate in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare staff.
