Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery night shift position requiring prior travel experience and recent L&D experience.

The role includes night shifts (3x12 hours, 19:00-07:00), potential on-call and weekend rotations, and travel-friendly benefits such as housing allowances and licensure reimbursements. Candidates must have an active RN license and relevant L&D experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (State or NLC Compact) required, no pending licensure accepted.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience; 3+ years preferred.
• At least 1 prior completed travel assignment required.
• Cerner EMR experience preferred.
• Driver's license copy required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery unit functioning as an overflow unit covering post-surgical and observation patients.
• Patient ratio of 1:6/7.
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-07:00).
• On-call required as needed.
• Weekend rotation required as needed.
• Floating may occur between like units and campuses within a 20-mile radius.
• Provide nursing care within a Labor and Delivery unit supporting overflow, post-surgical, and observation patients.
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this role.
