Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift in Denver, CO. The role requires current L&D experience and fetal monitoring certification, with active CO or compact license.

You will work in a 26-bed L&D unit, with patient ratios around 1:4 antepartum and 1:1 to 1:2 for laboring patients, using Meditech for charting. 13-week assignment with travel housing and licensure support.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (CO or Compact) required.
• Minimum 1 year of current L&D RN experience required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
• AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification (or NCCEFM) required.
• Mom-baby/couplet care and antepartum/high-risk L&D experience preferred.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 26-bed Labor & Delivery unit staffed with at least 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, and an ORT per shift.
• Patient ratios approximately 1:4 for antepartum patients and 1:1 or 1:2 for laboring patients.
• Cares for laboring patients, antepartum, and EDOB patients, including C-sections and cerclage procedures.
• Uses Alaris pumps for infusion management.
• Charts using Meditech with CPN charting system.
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Provide direct nursing care to laboring, antepartum, and EDOB patients in a busy L&D unit.
• Ability to work autonomously and flexibly within a collaborative care team.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility for consideration.
• Flexible and adaptable candidates are best suited for this fast-paced environment.
