Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel Labor and Delivery nurse for Grass Valley, California. This assignment is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts. Start date 09/29/2026.

The L&D RN will provide care during labor, delivery and the immediate postpartum period, monitor contractions, assist with epidurals and delivery procedures, and support new mothers and newborns. If you have 3 years of acute care experience and appropriate certifications, apply.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, AWHONN, NRP, STABLE certifications required.
• 3 years of recent acute care experience preferred.
• Excellent assessment and communication skills for labor and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Stay with patient throughout labor and monitor progress.
• Assist physicians with procedures and prepare deliveries.
• Monitor contractions, assist with breathing techniques and newborn care.
