Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery Travel RN for a 13-week assignment in Sacramento, CA. You'll work 36 hours weekly on 12-hour night shifts in a facility-setting, delivering obstetric care and supporting mother and baby through labor, delivery, and postpartum care.

The role requires 1 year L&D RN experience, an active CA RN license, and BLS; NRP and ACLS are preferred. This travel position offers competitive pay and benefits with a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience.
• Valid RN license in California.
• Current BLS certification.
• NRP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care.
• Administer medications and support obstetric procedures.
• Monitor fetal status and maternal condition during labor.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and neonatal staff.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care.
• Document care in the medical record and ensure safety.
