MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Reston, Virginia. This assignment is a 13-week travel role with 36 hours per week and 12-hour nights.

You will join a team caring for mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery and the immediate postpartum period. The ideal candidate holds an active RN license with BLS, ACLS, NRP and PALS certifications and has at least 18 months of recent Acute Care L&D experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS certifications required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Labor and Delivery setting.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to mothers and newborns during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages.
• Monitor vitals of mother and baby during birth.
• Monitor for potential high risk problems.
• Educate and support mothers and families after birth.
