Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a travel assignment in Reston, VA. The shift is 12 hours at night, for 36 hours per week, with a 13-week duration starting ASAP.

The ideal candidate has an active RN license and current certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP, Fetal Heart Rate Intermediate), plus experience in a fast-paced L&D unit and OR scrub/circulating skills. Benefits and travel support are available through ARMStaffing.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Heart Rate Intermediate certifications.
• Experience in a fast-paced labor and delivery unit.
• Skills in scrub and circulating roles in the operating room are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage labor and delivery processes and support patients in the laboring process.
• Circulate C-sections and assist in surgical procedures as necessary.
• Administer IV drips including magnesium and perform assessments.
• Document patient care using the Meditech system and ensure accurate records.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care.
