Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Merrillville, IN. This role offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts, and a path to impactful patient care in obstetrics. Travel status and licensure in good standing are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Active RN license valid in Indiana.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• NRP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric nursing care during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond to emergencies per protocols.
• Administer medications and assist during cesarean sections and procedures.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
• Document care and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
