MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Labor & Delivery RN for a Charlottesville, Virginia assignment. The role involves 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, and a 13-week duration with travel accommodations.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, and appropriate certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, AWHONN). 18 months of acute care L&D experience is required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, AWHONN certifications required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care L&D setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for women before, during, and after delivery.
• Monitor vital signs for mother and newborn.
• Identify and manage potential high-risk conditions during labor and delivery.
• Educate and support mothers and families after birth.
