Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Bangor, Maine. The assignment runs for 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on the night shift.

Start date is 10/06/2026, and employment is travel-based. The RN must hold an active license, have a degree from an accredited nursing program, and possess BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS and AWHONN certifications, plus 18 months of recent L&D acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN License

• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS AWHONN Certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Labor and Delivery (L&D) setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery Nurses provide care to women and their newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages.
• Monitor vital signs of the mother and baby during birth.
• Educate and support mothers and their families after giving birth.
