MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Bangor, Maine. The role includes a 13-week assignment, 36 hours per week, and night shifts on a 12-hour schedule.
Requirements include an active RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, and specialized certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, AWHONN). Eighteen months of L&D experience in acute care is expected, with client facility requirements to follow.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing in the United States.
- Nursing degree from an accredited program.
- 18 months recent experience in an Acute Care Labor & Delivery setting.
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS and AWHONN.
Responsibilities
- Labor and Delivery nurses provide care to women and their newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages.
- Monitor vital signs of the mother and baby during birth.
- Monitor patients for potential high risk problems.
- Educate and support mothers and their families after giving birth.
