Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week assignment in Machias, Maine. This role is 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts. Immediate start preferred for an experienced L&D RN.

The RN must have ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications, with at least 3 years' acute care experience. Travel pay includes a tax-free stipend and weekly pay, with comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• 3 years' acute care experience required.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Check cervix periodically to monitor dilation.
• Assist with delivery when needed and care for newborn.
• Support physician during epidurals or other procedures.
