Job summary

MB2 Dental is seeking an IT Field Support Technician to deliver advanced onsite and field-based IT support for practice locations and headquarters. The role requires frequent travel, after-hours coverage, and hands-on expertise across Windows, macOS, and enterprise infrastructure.

You will serve as an escalation point for the Service Desk, perform onsite assessments, manage server/VM environments, and collaborate with IT leadership to standardize environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT Support, Field Services, Infrastructure, or related roles.
• Intermediate to strong experience with Windows Server environments, AD, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience supporting Windows and macOS, PC/workstation installs and troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to support users onsite across multiple locations and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Field Services & Deployment: Deploy, configure, and support IT equipment at locations and HQ.
• Onsite IT Assessments: Evaluate infrastructure, identify risks, and suggest remediations.
• Onsite Support & Field Coverage: Travel to sites for hands-on support and remote locations as needed.
• Advanced & Tier 3 Support: Serve as escalation point for complex hardware/software issues.
• Server & Virtual Infrastructure Support: Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, VMs.
• Documentation & Process Improvement: Create SOPs and maintain knowledge bases.
• On-Call & After-Hours Support: Provide after-hours/weekend support as required.
