Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Columbia, South Carolina. The IR Tech will operate fluoroscopic equipment, assist physicians in image-guided procedures, and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.

Requirements include 1 year of acute care experience, BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) certification, and state licensing when required. The role is 40 hours per week, with days shifts and a travel/educational stipend offer through

Qualifications

1 year of experience in acute care radiology required.
BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) certification required; licensing as required.
Vascular Interventional certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians with image-guided procedures.
Prepare and observe patients during procedures and report abnormal activity.
Confirm patient identity, explain procedures, and provide reassurance as needed.
Monitor patient during all procedures and maintain accurate records.
Maintain knowledge of radiation protection standards and PACS usage.
