Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks an Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) for a travel assignment in Charleston, SC. The role requires 1 year of acute care experience, BLS/ACLS, ARRT, and state licensing as applicable; vascular interventional cert preferred.

The IR Tech will operate fluoroscopy, assist in interventional procedures, monitor patients, and maintain records, with a 13-week travel assignment and 40-hour weeks.

Qualifications

• 1 year of acute care experience required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) certification; state licensing if required; Vascular Interventional certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures.
• Prepare and observe patients undergoing procedures and report abnormal activity.
• Confirm patient identity and review imaging requests; explain procedures and provide reassurance.
