Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Dothan, Alabama. The IR tech will support physicians with fluoroscopic imaging, patient care, and sterile procedure workflows in a fast-paced lab.

The role requires ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, BLS, and one year of IR experience, with 40 hours/week and 8-hour shifts. Travel benefits and competitive pay are offered by Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Valid ARRT, or RCIS/RCES Certification in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound, to guide procedures.
• Assist physicians by scrubbing in for sterile procedures, passing instruments, and maintaining a sterile field.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and procedural details.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
