Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab seeks a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Kalamazoo, MI. The IR tech will support physicians in minimally invasive procedures using fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities, with a focus on patient care and safety.

Requirements include 1 year IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification per state rules, and current BLS. Preferred ACLS, radiology license, and other certifications may be requested.

Qualifications

• One year of IR technologist experience required.
• Valid ARRT, or RCIS/RCES Certification in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for IR procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment to guide procedures.
• Assist physicians by scrubbing in and maintaining a sterile field.
• Monitor vital signs and procedural details.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Ensure radiation safety for patients and staff.
