Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab seeks a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for an 8-week assignment in Marquette, MI. You will support physicians with imaging-guided, minimally invasive procedures and care for patients in a fast-paced lab.

The role requires IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES credentials, and BLS. Preferred ACLS or PALS certifications and Michigan licensure may be considered. Excellent travel benefits and a dedicated clinical team accompany this opportunity.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
• ARRT or RCIS/RCES certification in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) compliance with state regulations

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures
• Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities to guide procedures
• Scrub in for sterile procedures, pass instruments, and maintain a sterile field
• Monitor vital signs and procedural details
• Administer contrast and monitor for adverse reactions
• Ensure radiation safety for patients and staff
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment
• Restock procedural supplies (catheters, guidewires, contrast agents)
• Collaborate with radiologists and nurses to provide seamless patient care
• Follow infection control and regulatory protocols
• Educate patients before, during, and after procedures
• Perform other duties to support IR lab operations
