Zusammenfassung

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. The IR Tech will prepare patients, operate fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities, and assist physicians in sterile procedures while maintaining safety and high-quality care.

The role requires one year of IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, and current BLS; preferred ACLS, valid state license, and additional certifications.

Qualifikationen

• One year of recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Valid ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Aufgaben

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment to guide procedures (fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound).
• Scrub in for sterile procedures, pass instruments, and maintain sterile field.
• Monitor patient vitals and procedural details.
• Administer contrast and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Ensure radiation safety for patient, staff, and self.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment for procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and team members to ensure patient care.
