Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring RT(ARRT) registration and training in neuro or CT along with IR.

The role is based in a hospital radiology department with 10-hour shifts, weekend coverage, and weekly orientations. Candidates must meet ARRT requirements and have relevant angiography experience.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical training in Radiologic Technology is required.

Responsibilities

• Interventional Radiology unit within a hospital radiology department.
• 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week.
• Every other weekend required.
• Weekend and on-call coverage required.
• Orientation held weekly, every Monday barring holidays.
• Perform interventional radiology procedures including thrombectomy and angio procedures such as TIPS and angioplasty.
• Requires COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine, medical exemptions allowed.
• Must be separated from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility for at least six months prior to starting, applies to previous travel, perm, or per diem employees.
• Candidates must live 50+ miles from the facility to be considered, no local candidates accepted.
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration.
• Interview availability must be provided at time of consideration.
