American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring RT(ARRT) registration and training in neuro or CT along with IR.

The role is based in a hospital radiology department with 10-hour shifts, weekend coverage, and weekly orientations. Candidates must meet ARRT requirements and have relevant angiography experience.

• Vocational or technical training in Radiologic Technology is required.

Responsabilidades

• Interventional Radiology unit within a hospital radiology department.
• 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week.
• Every other weekend required.
• Weekend and on-call coverage required.
• Orientation held weekly, every Monday barring holidays.
• Perform interventional radiology procedures including thrombectomy and angio procedures such as TIPS and angioplasty.
• Requires COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine, medical exemptions allowed.
• Must be separated from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility for at least six months prior to starting, applies to previous travel, perm, or per diem employees.
• Candidates must live 50+ miles from the facility to be considered, no local candidates accepted.
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration.
• Interview availability must be provided at time of consideration.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience in Interventional Radiology
• CT ARRT and IR ARRT certifications required
• RT ARRT registration required
• Vocational or technical training in Radiologic Technology required
• MA Radiology license required if applicable
• Ability to work independently in procedure rooms and take independent trauma call

Responsibilities

• Interventional Radiology department setting
• 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 40 hours per week
• Weekend and on-call coverage required
• Must be able to work independently in IR procedure rooms and take on-call independently for trauma
• Procedures include TIPS, angioplasty, and other angio procedures
• Extensive thrombectomy device knowledge required (PE/Stroke)
• GE/Siemens equipment knowledge required
• Scrub and circulator experience required
• Weekly orientation held every Monday, barring holidays
• Must provide interview availability and RTO requests at time of consideration
• COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed
• Previous Beth Israel Lahey Health employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible unless considered on a case-by-case basis for hard-to-fill positions
• First-time travelers may be considered
