Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist (ARRT VI) to support vascular surgery, interventional radiology, and neuro-endovascular procedures. Requires AMA-approved radiologic tech program or RCIS, ARRT VI, and BLS/ACLS.

Responsibilities include work in the IR, OR 28, and neuro-interventional suites; provide adult patient care; function as scrub/monitor/fluoro tech in single- and bi-plane environments; assist with sheath insertions and stabilization; perform

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA Council on Education-approved radiologic technology program, or RCIS credential through Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
• ARRT (VI) certification required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Experience with vascular surgery, interventional radiology, and neuro-endovascular cases required.

Responsibilities

• Work in interventional radiology, OR 28, and neuro-interventional suite settings.
• Support vascular surgery, interventional radiology, and neuro-endovascular procedures.
• Provide care to adult and geriatric patient populations.
• Function as scrub, monitor, and fluoroscopy technologist in single- and biplane environments.
• Assist with sheath insertion, groin sealant, and patient stabilization.
• Perform adult diagnostic angiography, guidewire and catheter-based procedures, and percutaneous biopsies.
• Neuro lab call coverage approximately one week every four weeks.
• Backup call coverage of approximately 2-4 additional days per month.
• Total call commitment of approximately 9-11 days per month.
• Must be able to report to the hospital within 30 minutes of call notification.

• Experience with vascular surgery, interventional radiology, and neuro-endovascular cases required
• License required if applicable

• Work in interventional radiology, OR 28, and neuro-interventional suite settings
• Support vascular surgery, interventional radiology, and neuro-endovascular procedures
• Provide care to adult and geriatric patient populations
• Function as scrub, monitor, and fluoroscopy technologist in single- and biplane environments
• Assist with sheath insertion, groin sealant, and patient stabilization
• Perform adult diagnostic angiography, guidewire and catheter-based procedures, and percutaneous biopsies
• 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, either 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• Neuro lab call coverage approximately one week every four weeks
• Backup call coverage of approximately 2-4 additional days per month
• Total call commitment of approximately 9-11 days per month
• Must be able to report to the hospital within 30 minutes of call notification
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary procedural team
• Follow all radiation safety policies and procedures for patients, coworkers, and self
• First-time travelers are welcome
• Candidates must reside at least 90 miles from the facility; local candidates not permitted
• Contracts end on a Tuesday due to the facility's Wednesday-Tuesday pay period
