Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology position. The role requires 2+ years of experience and ARRT(R) certification, with BLS and Fluoro Permit required.

Other certifications are preferred, and Epic charting experience is advantageous. The position involves 5x8 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with call and weekend coverage. Travel experience and the ability to reside >50 miles from the facility are required;

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant interventional radiology experience.
• BLS and ARRT(R) certification required; Fluoro Permit required.
• ACLS, ARRT(CI), ARRT(VI), CCI RCES, CCI RCIS, CET, and PALS preferred.
• Epic charting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works in the Interventional Radiology unit, with potential exposure to Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab settings.
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Uses equipment including fluoroscopy, GE Innova IGS, CT, MRI, Philips, Siemens, and ultrasound systems.
• Epic charting experience preferred
• 5x8 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• Call and weekend coverage required
• May float to like units within scope based on facility needs
• Responsibilities include equipment setup, sterile field maintenance, room circulation, and procedural support for interventional and vascular cases
• First-time travelers will be considered for this role
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Former staff must wait at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Limited RTO may be approved at time of submission

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology position requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT(R) certification.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required
• BLS and ARRT(R) certification required; Fluoro Permit required
• ACLS, ARRT(CI), ARRT(VI), CCI RCES, CCI RCIS, CET, and PALS preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• Skills in venous access, vascular closure systems, sterile technique, and procedural monitoring required
• Experience with a wide range of interventional radiology, vascular, and cardiac catheterization procedures preferred
