American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico. 5x8 shifts (7:30 AM–3:00 PM), 40 hours per week, 13 weeks, with call and weekend coverage.

Requirements include 2+ years' IR experience, BLS, ARRT(R) certification, Fluoro Permit; ACLS, ARRT(CI), ARRT(VI), CCI RCES/RCIS, CET, and PALS preferred. Epic charting experience is a plus.

Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology position requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT(R) certification.

Details

• Works in the Interventional Radiology unit, with potential exposure to Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab settings
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Uses equipment including fluoroscopy, GE Innova IGS, CT, MRI, Philips, Siemens, and ultrasound systems
• Epic charting experience preferred
• 5x8 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• Call and weekend coverage required
• May float to like units within scope based on facility needs

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required
• BLS and ARRT(R) certification required; Fluoro Permit required
• ACLS, ARRT(CI), ARRT(VI), CCI RCES, CCI RCIS, CET, and PALS preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include equipment setup, sterile field maintenance, room circulation, and procedural support for interventional and vascular cases
• First-time travelers will be considered for this role
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Former staff must wait at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Limited RTO may be approved at time of submission
