American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist in Englewood, Colorado for a 13-week assignment. The role requires at least 6 months of acute care IR experience, ARRT (R), and BLS certification. Openings: 2; 40 hours/week, dayshift, 10-hour shifts.

The facility is a busy IR unit with multiple Siemens systems, on-call duties, and a comprehensive stroke center setting. Local candidates outside a 50-mile radius are preferred.

• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 6 months of current acute care hospital IR Tech experience.
• Neuro interventional experience preferred (strokes, aneurysms, SAH).

Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 6 months of recent acute care hospital IR experience for a 13-week assignment.

Details

• Work in an Interventional Radiology unit with 5 IR suites


• Alternating day shifts of 7:00 AM-5:30 PM and 8:00 AM-4:30 PM


• Staffing ratio of 2 IR Techs to 1 IR RN


• Equipment includes 4 Siemens bi-plane units and 1 Siemens single plane unit


• EMR systems used include Meditech and GE Centricity PACS


• On-call required 1 night per week and 1 rotating weekend per month, with possible holiday coverage

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of current acute care hospital IR Tech experience


• ARRT (R) and BLS certification required


• License required if applicable


• Neuro interventional experience preferred (strokes, aneurysms, SAH)


• Expert knowledge of vascular interventional radiology procedures preferred

Additional Information

• Facility serves as a Comprehensive Stroke Center performing procedures such as strokes, aneurysms, SAH, and DVST


• Level 1 Trauma Center performing procedures including GIB, embolizations, gastrostomy tubes, and nephrostomy placements


• Best suited for self-motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced interventional lab and teamwork-oriented environment
