Interventional Radiology Rad Tech needed for a 13-week contract.

Typical schedule is 5 x 8-hour shifts during the day, but the facility may consider 4 x 10-hour shifts.

Duties include:

• Instructs and prepares patients for examinations and assists Radiologist during procedures.
• Demonstrates competence and proficiency in operation of all equipment and reports malfunctions to manager or lead.
• Completes all assigned procedures in a timely manner and uses time between procedures to benefit the department—assisting others and with room turnover.
• Coverage for many vascular surgery cases.

Qualifications:

• BLS (American Heart Association)
• At least 2 years of prior experience
• Clear NY Tech License in hand
• VIR Certification
