Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Dayton, Ohio. This role involves preparing patients, operating fluoroscopy and imaging equipment, and assisting interventional radiologists in a fast-paced lab.

Start date 10/26/2026, 40 hours per week, days shift. Requires ARRT or RCIS/RCES, BLS, and at least one year of IR tech experience. Benefits include comprehensive health plans, licensure reimbursement, and travel support.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• ARRT or RCIS/RCES certification in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate imaging equipment including fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound to guide procedures.
• Scrub in for sterile procedures, pass instruments, and maintain a sterile field.
• Monitor vital signs and procedural details; administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Adhere to radiation safety measures and assist with equipment maintenance.
